Newtown, PA native Jamie Greubel had dreams of winning an Olympic medal from the moment she set foot on a bobsled track. In the year leading up to the 2014 Olympic Games, Jamie had great success on the World Cup circuit with five podium finishes (1 gold, 1 silver, 3 bronze) and two fourth place finishes. As the driver for USA Bobsled 2, Greubel was somewhat in the shadow of USA 1 Bobsled driver Elana Meyers. In addition, there was a lot of media attention on former Olympic track and field stars turned bobsled brakemen, Lolo Jones and Lauryn Williams. But Greubel remained focused on the task at hand and her goal of winning an Olympic medal.
